How Organizational Learning Happens with M.A.Curfman Learning at Your Side:

 We all learn in different ways and at different speeds, so we don’t do cookie-cutter. We can tailor each of our training sessions to meet the needs of the organization and the needs of the learners.

Our training methods (both in-person and virtual) include:

  • Instructor-Led Training (ILT) - training that occurs in a classroom setting (in-person, virtual, or hybrid), with an instructor presenting the material and facilitating learning.

  • eLearning - relying on online, recorded video presentations, tests and quizzes, and written materials (i.e., workbooks) to deliver the training.

  • Hands-on Training - experiential training that focuses on the specific needs of the learners.

  • Coaching and Mentoring - training that meets the specific needs of a learner and focuses on the relationship between a learner and a more experienced professional or subject matter expert (SME).

  • Lecture-style Training - important for getting large pieces of information to a large learner population.

  • Team Discussions/Activities - perfect for multiple learners within a team. The discussions and activities are usually instructor-led face-to-face or in a virtual environment.

  • Role-Playing - helps learners by walking through a controlled situation while considering different perspectives and responses.

  • Readings and Case Studies - learners can benefit from reading about theoretical constructs, complex issues, and the real-world application of differing methodologies.

We can deliver our training through:

  • Time-Directed Training

    • 1-hour to 6-hour mini-classes and seminars

    • 1-day to 5-day classes and workshops

  • Time-Spaced Training

    • 3-week to 12-week courses (usually one to two classes/week)

  • Coaching

    • 1-hour to 3-hour one-on-one sessions

    • 1-hour to 3-hour group sessions

    • i+MasterMind Groups

  • Programmatic Training and Coaching

    • Bundling of seminars, classes, workshops, courses, and/or coaching sessions

Delivery Platforms

We are fully adept at in-person delivery of training and facilitation, as well as all virtual training and learning facilitation options. We are experts at delivery through the use of interactive online tools, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, GoToMeeting, Adobe Connect, and others. We also can produce hybrid training sessions.

Experience our instructor-led courses from the comfort of your home or office. Our virtual live training features real-time interaction with our trainers and provides an engaging professional development environment on your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Training Topics

We train on a wide array of topics (see our Training Catalog) and can deliver the training on-site at your organization's location, in a public setting such as a conference center or hotel, or in a completely virtual environment.

We also regularly present at conferences, trade shows, expos, and summits.

Our Trainers and Facilitators

M.A.Curfman Learning uses a cadre of instructors, facilitators, and coaches who are recognized subject matter experts (SMEs) and industry thought-leaders. They have all served in businesses (large and small), in nonprofit organizations, in k-12 schools, colleges and universities, or in state, local and Federal government agencies. In other words, in addition to their training and education, they all have earned their stripes by doing the hard things in their respective industries.
